The service

ArticleSift converts publicly accessible article URLs into clean, print-ready PDFs. A single public article conversion is available without an account. Accounts may provide history, retries, preferences, batch jobs, combined PDFs, and credit-based paid features.

We may rate-limit anonymous usage, paid usage, or API usage to keep the service reliable.

Public URLs only

You may submit only URLs that are publicly accessible and that you have the right to access and process.

You must not use ArticleSift to:

  • Bypass login walls, paywalls, CAPTCHAs, robots restrictions, access controls, or technical protection measures.
  • Store or provide cookies, passwords, tokens, or other credentials for scraping restricted content.
  • Infringe copyright, privacy, publicity, contract, or other rights.
  • Submit unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or highly sensitive content.
  • Create a public archive, searchable corpus, mirror site, or redistribution service from generated PDFs.
  • Overload, scrape, reverse engineer, disrupt, or abuse the service.
  • Misrepresent ArticleSift as affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to any publication, platform, or rights holder.

If a URL cannot be accessed publicly, we may show an error and decline to generate a PDF.

Your content and generated PDFs

Articles and other third-party content remain owned by their respective rights holders. We do not claim ownership of the articles you convert, and these Terms do not grant you rights to underlying third-party content.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of submitted URLs and generated PDFs complies with applicable law and any rights or licenses that apply to the content.

We store generated PDFs temporarily according to your plan and our Privacy Policy. We do not provide a permanent archive guarantee.

Accounts

If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your sign-in method and for activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts for abuse, fraud, non-payment, security risk, or violation of these Terms.

Paid features and credits

Paid features may use credits, credit packs, subscriptions, or other pricing shown at checkout. Payments are processed by Creem. Prices, taxes, credit amounts, expiration, and plan limits will be shown before purchase.

Credits are consumed when eligible jobs are submitted or completed according to the pricing rules shown at checkout. Failed jobs may be handled as described in our Refund Policy.

Refunds

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy at /refund.

Intellectual property

ArticleSift, including its site design, software, branding, and original content, is owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, resell, or create a competing service using our site or software except as allowed by law.

Copyright concerns

If you believe content processed by ArticleSift infringes your copyright, contact [to confirm: copyright@domain] with:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work.
  • The URL or generated result at issue.
  • Your contact information.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized.

Because ArticleSift does not maintain a public article library, we may remove stored generated files, disable access to specific results, or take other appropriate action.

Disclaimers

ArticleSift is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee that every URL can be converted, that every PDF will preserve every element of the source page, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Any source-specific success rate shown on the site must be based on current tests and may change as source sites change.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost content, or business interruption arising from your use of ArticleSift.

Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of US$100 or the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim, unless applicable law does not allow this limitation.

Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify us from claims arising out of your submitted URLs, your use or distribution of generated PDFs, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of another party’s rights, except to the extent prohibited by law.

Termination

You may stop using ArticleSift at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for abuse, security risk, non-payment, or violation of these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive will survive termination.

Governing law and disputes
